Poker Aces references two aces being dealt before theflop. It’s the strongest possible pre-flop hand inholdem Poker. But regardless a good many competitors end up on the losing end when given these cards.
When you are given a set of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You’re sitting with the best achievable hand at this stage of the game. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Remember, you are trying to acquire as much profit out of this strong position. You want to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will actually drive most gamblers into folding and not placing a bet.
If you are in the initial seat (first or 2nd to place a bet), you’ll make a single wager. Anybody with good cards will call, with luck somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise do not jump to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your tactic will be to eliminate anybody that could be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you are fortunate you will trick 1 player into thinking that you are bluffing.
If you are in the center or later position (near the last to place a bet) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Defend your hand by making the other players fold following the flop. If you do not abolish your competition you chance squandering your hand.
