Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about other, more skillful players winning their cash.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, beginners can take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.

It is also easier to bet on for an extended time with basically a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
