Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in a fantastic game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to worry about other, more advanced players winning their $$$$.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied decisions.
It’s also simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a little amount of money since, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
